The Real Club de Golf Sotogrande isn’t just another golf course on the Costa del Sol. It’s the birthplace of golf in Sotogrande, the course that shaped the area’s reputation, and still today one of the true jewels of European golf.
From July 11th to 13th, the iconic Real Club Valderrama once again hosted one of the most exclusive golf events of the year — the LIV Golf Andalucía 2025. As someone who lives and breathes Sotogrande, I couldn’t have been more thrilled to attend.
From July 28 to August 30, Ayala Polo Club proudly hosts the 54th International Polo Tournament, divided into three high‑level competitions: Copa de Bronce, Copa de Plata, and the prestigious Copa de Oro during August – featuring matches across 6–8, 12–14, and 20–22 goal handicaps.
The polo season in Sotogrande runs from late spring to early autumn, peaking during July and August. Los Pinos Santa María Polo Club hosts numerous events, but the crown jewel is the International Polo Tournament.
