From Local Favourite to Global Reach: Charlie in Sotogrande Returns for Season 2

When we launched Charlie in Sotogrande at the start of 2025, the idea was simple enough: sit down with the people who give this place its character and have honest conversations. No scripts. No filters. No agenda. Just real voices from a community we care deeply about.

I never imagined how far it would go. What began as a modest local project quickly became something much bigger, a space where Sotogrande could speak for itself.

By the end of the first year, the podcast had become far more than a series of interviews. It turned into a meeting point, a place where residents, newcomers, and even people abroad could understand what Sotogrande truly is.

Listeners tuned in from the UK, Scandinavia, the US, the Middle East, and across Europe. Families relocating here told us they discovered Sotogrande through the show. Local businesses reached out wanting to share their stories. Episodes were passed around in school chats, neighbourhood groups, and even between lawyers and developers.

Charlie in Sotogrande Season 1

Season 1 didn’t just perform well. It became part of the Sotogrande conversation. And that, more than anything, confirmed something I’ve always believed: Sotogrande is shaped by its people, and when you give those people a voice, the whole community becomes stronger.

Listeners heard the stories behind the clubs, the schools, the restaurants, the neighbourhoods. They learned how the property market really works, what life feels like through the seasons, and why this community is so unusually cohesive.

What surprised me most was how many buyers arrived already informed. They knew the names of restaurants and clubs. They had context.

The podcast became a living guidebook a resource that helped people understand Sotogrande long before they booked a flight.

Why Season 2 Matters

Season 2 opens with a conversation with Rita Jordão of Sotogrande SA, someone who understands the evolution of this resort better than most. Her episode sets the tone for what’s ahead: deeper stories, broader perspectives, and a clearer look at where Sotogrande is heading.

This season is not just a continuation. It’s an expansion of voices, of ideas, of the community we want to celebrate.

A Big Thank You and a Special Request

To everyone who listened, shared, subscribed, or simply sent a message after an episode you made this possible. This podcast has grown because the community embraced it, and because people genuinely care about what Sotogrande represents.

And now, I’d like to ask for your help.

If an episode resonates with you, share it.
If you know someone who should hear it, send it to them.
If you want Sotogrande to be understood globally , help us spread the word.

There is no commercial gain here. No hidden agenda. No monetisation. It exists for one reason: To give Sotogrande the global visibility it deserves, through the voices of the people who make it extraordinary.

Season 2 is for the community, and because of the community.
